Community Wolf is building the infrastructure that turns everyday safety reports into intelligence teams can act on.
Across communities and organisations, important safety information is shared every day - but it's fragmented, unstructured, and often lost. Community Wolf exists to change that. By responsibly capturing and connecting these reports, we help people stay safer while building a clearer picture of risk over time - enabling smarter, more proactive approaches to public safety.

This architecture maps the complete flow: data generation products create structured signals, the Safety Intelligence Layer standardises and models them, and the Safety Intelligence API distributes risk intelligence to operational teams and external platforms.

Safety Intelligence Layer
Ingestion, standardisation, and continuously learning models transform raw signals into a unified safety graph and forecastable risk outputs.
Safety Intelligence API
Endpoints like /risk-score, /incidents, /heatmap, and /predict deliver intelligence into insurance, mobility, property, and city systems.
Left: signal generation across community and enterprise touchpoints.
Centre: ingestion, standardisation, and model training in the Safety Intelligence Layer.
Right: intelligence distribution to operational tools and partner platforms.
- 1. Capture local safety events at the edge using existing communication and operational channels.
- 2. Standardise every signal into a canonical schema with geospatial indexing and common categories.
- 3. Train and update models as new events arrive, improving risk scores and forecast quality over time.

Team
Community Wolf was founded by Nick Mills and Michael Houghton. Together with the wider team, we blend field operations, product craft, and data-led execution to keep communities safer.
Nick Mills
Co-founder. Runs the business and manages the chaos from product decisions to clients and strategy. Background in quant and big data in financial services; now applying that to public safety data at scale.
Michael Houghton
Co-founder. Obsessive builder who loves creating and working with AI. If it runs through Community Wolf's tech stack, it's passed through Michael's hands.
Angus Henderson
Long-time business operator who's built and scaled successful businesses in his own right. That's why he runs Namola. His mantra: cool things with cool people, and that's exactly what he's doing today.
Jessica Harris
Coordinates marketing across all Community Wolf products. Deep experience expanding brands in South Africa. Mum of two, super energetic, she's got that drive.
Gretha Groeneveld
20+ years in spatial crime mapping, including her PhD. The backbone of our crime and spatial theory, and leads community involvement in the Western Cape.
Philip Gimmi
Senior engineer. Obsessed with building, and an AI researcher. Most things that move through the business pass through Philip at some point.
Keegan Solomons
Over five years with Namola. Deeply embedded in how Namola runs, its culture and ethos. Leads customer success and much else.
Kumkani Max Mazaleni
First customer success and sales for Community Wolf business tools. If he's not with clients, he's on his way, helping them get set up and understand the ecosystem.
